Possible new plant installation , Sheffield Forgemasters

After our last blog discussing the promotion of South Yorkshire as the ‘manufacturing region of choice’ it appears the Government have taken note!  After previously pulling the plug on a promised £80m loan to Sheffield Forgemasters, they have now agreed to loan the company £36m to assist in the installation of new plant in order to develop growth, as reported by the BBC today. This news is greatly welcomed and it is hoped that the financial injection will have a positive knock on effect on businesses such as ours throughout the Sheffield region.
